Bad news. We recently discovered that we had mice in the van again. We keep dried dog food in a plastic container in the compartment over the front seats and found a hole in the side of the container. It was obvious that we had mice again.
So we had to install humane mouse traps which have caught 5 mice so far. It’s now been a few days since we caught (and released) the last one. We’ve thrown away the dog food. We’ve reinstalled the sonic mouse deterrent. And we move the van off the grass and into the hard standing.
No mice for a week, so today we got everything out of the van and cleaned everything. All bedding and clothes are going in the wash. We’ve disinfected everything. Now the van is really clean and shiny. And it’s ready for it’s next trip!
