Another quick trip down to South Devon for some more house hunting. We wanted to view the outside of 5 houses. Three in West Charleton, two in Hope Cove and one in Kingston. So we booked a CAMC site at Slapton, just around the corner from one of our favourite places Torcross. We drove down on Monday afternoon (27th June) and got to the site at about 7pm. We walked to Torcross and had dinner in the Start Bay Inn, which was very nice. (I had a burger and Sara had a crab salad). Then walked back to the site and watched the tennis.

The next day we drove to West Charleton and checked out the houses, then on to Salcombe, where we parked up and walked into tow, saw Daisy’s boyfriend Jacob in his new job working for the Salcombe Harbourmaster. Then on to Hope Cove, where we viewed 2 more houses, before bumping into my cousin Nick and partner Sue. We went to the Cottage Hotel for coffee and lunch. Nick and Sue joined us. Then we went on to Kingston before returning home, feeling a bit disappointed with the house-hunting, as you don’t get much for your money down in Devon. We need a lottery win! (There, I’ve said it!)
